The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estiarte jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Johnson shoots in and drives through. Estiarte sprawls well.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Johnson is trying to move to mount but Estiarte reverses beautifully and ends up in Johnson's guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Esteban Rodrigo Estiarte wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Estiarte as he avoids it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Estiarte tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Estiarte manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Estiarte is trying to defend but Johnson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Estiarte is just riding it out for now. Johnson eventually gives up the hold.

Johnson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Johnson wants to control the pace but Estiarte is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Estiarte tries to lock up and control but Johnson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Johnson looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Estiarte covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
