Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon ODonnelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hughes's choice of entrance music: Achey Breakey Heart. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ODonnelly shoots for a takedown but Hughes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hughes forces ODonnelly back against the cage and clinches.
Hughes lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hughes creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Hughes working some nice short punches in the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hughes.

Hughes gets control of ODonnelly's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hughes will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
ODonnelly trying to control the position from guard on top but Hughes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hughes is on top in guard.
Hughes makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
