The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor throws a hook but Allen avoids it easily.

It looks like Kevin Allen has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Taylor takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Allen. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Taylor steps in with a hook that catches Allen right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Taylor follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Allen looks absolutely devastated.
