PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between WIlliam Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lane Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob comes to the ring accompanied by I got my game on. Frost is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 8 second ride (Jake Owen). Lane Frost is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Frost moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bob throws a shot from downtown. Frost moves away and avoids it.
Bob throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bob ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bob takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bob tries to clinch
and Frost counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Frost throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bob tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bob throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bob moves to clinch but Frost breaks away
and Frost counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Frost keeps the fight on the outside.
Frost throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bob sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bob tries to clinch up

Frost throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Frost thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bob blocks a jab.
Bob throws a head kick that misses.
Bob slips a jab from Frost.
Frost scores with a punch to the head.
Frost keeps the fight on the outside.
Bob staying out of range there.
Bob tries to clinch there but Frost circles away.
Frost is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bob.

Bob has managed to clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Frost wants to break free but Bob has control.
Frost has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Frost escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bob staying out of range there.

No joy there for Bob, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bob fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Frost.
Bob closes the distance but Frost moves to the side
and Frost counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Frost scores with a jab to the head.
Frost misses with the combination.
Bob tries to close the distance and clinch up but Frost swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Frost throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bob counters by moving into the clinch.
Frost letting Bob take a breather here.
Bob prevents Frost from breaking the clinch.

Frost's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A slow jab from Frost misses its intended target.
A swing and a miss from Frost.
Bob moves in looking to clinch but Frost pushes him off.
Bob buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bob tries to clinch up.
Frost might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
A combination from Frost does no damage.
Bob fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bob uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Frost.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bob looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Frost is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bob had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Bob moves out of range as Frost strikes.
Bob wants to clinch up but Frost keeps it at a distance.
Frost misses with a looping left.
Bob walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Frost tries to keep at a distance but Bob has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bob digs a right hand underneath Frost's ribcage. Frost let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Frost looks winded!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bob lands a good knee to the midsection. Frost won't want to take too many of those.
A battle for position here, against the ropes.

Bob lands with a left to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Frost takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bob blocks a jab.
Bob tries to close the distance and clinch but Frost swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bob moves in looking to clinch but Frost pushes him off.
Bob will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Bob misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Bob putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Frost in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Bob lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Frost wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Frost is breathing heavily.
Bob throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Bob cracks Frost on the chin with a massive knee! He's been separated from consciousness before he even hits the floor! Absolutely fantastic knee and a brutal finish!
