Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, john gay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammy Stone!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gay swinging wilding here.
Stone scores with a sloppy right hand. gay should have avoided that one.
gay defending well as Stone loads up on a big left hand.
Stone fails to land with a series of punches.
gay closes the distance and clinches.
gay taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
gay misses with some punches.
gay manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
gay drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stone pulls his leg out and moves away.
gay shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stone as he avoids it easily.
gay drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
gay misses with the ground and pound.
Stone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with gay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

gay stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Sammy Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. gay doesn't seem bothered though.
gay is breathing heavily.
Stone throws a good cross that connects.
Stone lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stone.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
gay has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from gay there as he acknowledges the shot.
gay is rocked!
gay fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for john gay. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A punch combination from gay misses.
gay moves away from the strike by Stone.
Stone slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Oh gay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by gay.
gay seems to have got his legs back now.
Stone comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Stone lands with a nice body punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stone throws an overhand right that has gay reeling! Stone follows up with more punches and gay is out cold! This one is all over!
