Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaru Hideki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hideki has chosen I've Just Seen a Face as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Marsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 10 - 2, fighting out of London, Masaru Hideki!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh misses with a wild body shot.
Hideki lands a leg kick that knocks Marsh off balance momentarily.
Marsh swings for the body but Hideki moves out of range.
Hideki moves out of range of the strikes.
Marsh lands a nice shot to the body.
Hideki shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hideki scores with a jab to the body.
Marsh misses with a takedown attempt

and Hideki decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Marsh's guard.

Marsh has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Hideki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Marsh enables Hideki to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Marsh manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Marsh takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Marsh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hideki sprawls well. Hideki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marsh gets slowly back to his feet.

Masaru Hideki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Hideki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
