Marciano comes to the cage accompanied by DEAD MAN'S GUN. Carlton has chosen Samael - Baphomets Throne as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Kyle Carlton enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano stalks Carlton and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Carlton's face. Carlton staggers backwards, shaken.
A nice inside leg kick there by Marciano. That's going to slow Carlton down.
Marciano cracks a nice hook into Carlton's ribs.

It looks like Don Marciano has been cut.
Don Marciano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Marciano swings widly with a right hand
and Carlton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Carlton scores with a jab to the body.
Carlton tried to score with a low kick but Marciano checks it.
Marciano misses with an uppercut. Carlton saw that one coming.

Marciano throws a low kick but it's checked well by Carlton.
Carlton swings for the body but Marciano moves out of range.
Marciano fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carlton manages to avoid it.
Carlton avoids a kick to the body.

Marciano connects with a body shot that sends Carlton's belly button to the back.
Marciano throws a leg kick but Carlton checks it.
Marciano tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carlton was well out of range. Poor timing from Marciano.
Carlton takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Carlton takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Carlton avoids a kick to the body.
Marciano lunges at Carlton with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Carlton's hand.
A telegraphed right hand from Marciano misses the target.

Marciano gets tackled into the cage by Carlton. Carlton maintains the clinch.
Marciano misses with a knee to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Carlton gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Marciano tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Carlton's elbow.
Marciano lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Marciano works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Carlton softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Carlton pushes Marciano back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Carlton is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Marciano is defending well for now.

Carlton tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Carlton presses Marciano against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Marciano throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Carlton blocks it with crossed arms.

A left hand lands to the body for Carlton.
Carlton lands an elbow just above Marciano 's eye.
Carlton blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Carlton blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Carlton is leaning against Marciano and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Carlton lands a right hand.
Carlton lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Marciano backwards.
Carlton throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marciano misses with a short punch on the inside.
Still in the clinch, Carlton scores with a nice short uppercut.


Don Marciano's cut is getting worse.
Carlton misses with the head strike.
Carlton lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Carlton scores with a shot to the side of Marciano's head.


Marciano is rocked!
Clinched against the cage, Carlton lands a big elbow that drops Marciano! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Marciano is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Carlton!
Kyle Carlton is the new heavyweight champion!
A very excited looking Kyle Carlton rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
