The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grigoriev thuds a left hand into Assunicao's body.

Grigoriev throws a series of punches but Assunicao avoids them all with ease.
Grigoriev scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Assunicao shoots in and bounces Grigoriev off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Assunicao will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Grigoriev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Assunicao manages to avoid it.

Grigoriev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Assunicao stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Assunicao is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Grigoriev lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Assunicao backs up against the ropes.

Assunicao walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Assunicao is rocked!

Oh Assunicao is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grigoriev lands a nice shot to the body.
Assunicao seems to have got his legs back now.
Assunicao seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Grigoriev shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Assunicao is backing up but Grigoriev catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Assunicao covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Grigoriev Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
