Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Champ Bombada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Declan Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Declan Duddy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bombada scores with a shot to the body.
Bombada throws a shot from downtown. Duddy moves away and avoids it.

Duddy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bombada fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Duddy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Duddy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Duddy connects with a right hand. Bombada shakes it off.
Duddy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bombada paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bombada lands with an uppercut that bounces Duddy off the cage and back into range.

Bombada throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Duddy.

No joy there for Bombada, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Duddy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bombada moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Duddy fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bombada is out of range.
Duddy misses with a wild combination.
Duddy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bombada thows a body shot but no joy.
Bombada connects with a body shot that sends Duddy's belly button to the back.
Bombada connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Duddy throws a nice looking combination but Bombada bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Declan Duddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duddy misses with a few strikes there.
Bombada thuds his right hand into Duddy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Champ Bombada will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Duddy throws a lazy right hand but Bombada sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Duddy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fighters circling - Bombada throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Duddy tries to bum rush Bombada with a series of wild strikes but Bombada uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bombada cracks Duddy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Duddy in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Bombada lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Duddy out cold! Duddy is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Champ Bombada decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
