Johnson looks to clinch

and Hoffman counters with a crisp one two that drops Johnson! Hoffman thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Johnson to his feet! Johnson is in big trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hoffman works Johnson's body with a nice hook.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hoffman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jerome Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hoffman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Johnson.
Hoffman tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hoffman lands with a right and another and another! Johnson is in big trouble! Hoffman lands again and this time it's lights out for Johnson! A quality knockout there for Hoffman.

After the fight, Jack Hoffman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
