The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kazasuki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Marquardt tries to reverse the position but Kazasuki maintains control.
Marquardt bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Kazasuki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Marquardt is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marquardt is pushing down on Kazasuki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kazasuki is fighting to maintain full guard but Marquardt has managed to sneak the leg through.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Marquardt in particular looking to stall.

Marquardt has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kazasuki defend it? Marquardt steps over the head and cranks it - Kazasuki is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Marquardt!
