Flynn has chosen Kanye West- Amazing as his entrance music. Frank Flynn has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Steve Tobolowsky's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Steve Tobolowsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Flynn!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flynn misses with a double jab

and Tobolowsky counters with a shoot takedown. Flynn fights it but they end up in guard.
Flynn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tobolowsky is controlling him.
Flynn being controlled here, momentarily.
Tobolowsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Flynn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tobolowsky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tobolowsky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tobolowsky drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Flynn manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tobolowsky has Flynn in his guard.

Flynn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tobolowsky has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Flynn has managed to get both his arms back between Tobolowsky's legs - danger averted.
Tobolowsky pulls Flynn in to control the position.
Tobolowsky wants to stand up but Flynn is controlling him.

Tobolowsky has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Flynn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Flynn wants to control from the top but Tobolowsky keeps moving.

Flynn gets to his feet - Tobolowsky follows without any prompting.
Flynn moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Flynn throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tobolowsky on the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tobolowsky closes the distance and clinches up with Flynn, looking for a takedown. Tobolowsky pushes Flynn against the cage but Flynn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Frank Flynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Flynn dives in and scores a takedown into Tobolowsky's guard.
Flynn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Flynn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Tobolowsky wants to stand and escape but Flynn is having none of it.
Flynn engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Tobolowsky has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Flynn off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Flynn misses with a head kick.
Flynn lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Flynn.
Tobolowsky on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Sloppy strikes from Flynn. Those never looked like landing.
Flynn connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Tobolowsky tumbling to the canvas! Flynn pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Tobolowsky was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Frank Flynn!
