Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vin Voss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shoney Rottie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voss comes into the arena with Face The Pain-Stemm blaring out of the sound system. Shoney Rottie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rottie scores with a nice body kick.
Vin Voss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rottie tests Voss's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Voss closes the distance and clinches up with Rottie, looking for a takedown. Voss pushes Rottie against the cage but Rottie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rottie tries to keep at a distance but Voss has taken the fight into the clinch.
Voss is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rottie pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Voss breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Voss shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rottie as he jumps to the side.

Rottie throws a combination. Voss tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Vin Voss has been cut.

Voss is breathing heavily.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Rottie and Voss goes tumbling to the canvas! Rottie follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Rottie is pressing down on Voss's thigh, looking to free his foot. Voss is holding on for now.

Voss is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Rottie frees his head nicely. Oh but Voss has switched to an armbar! Rottie is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Vin Voss spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
