Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Liam Panos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Semtex Daily (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daily tries for a takedown but Panos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Daily blocks a head kick by Panos.

Daily gets the takedown into side control.
Panos manages to get back to half guard.

Panos tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Daily takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Panos swings wildly with an uppercut but Daily uses good head movement to avoid it.

Panos bucks up and tries to throw Daily off but instead Daily has got his back!
Panos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Daily controlling well, preventing Panos from escaping the position.
Daily really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Panos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Daily is trying to stick to Panos's back but Panos is turning into Daily. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Daily's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Panos.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Daily shoots in looking for a takedown but Panos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daily's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Panos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Daily paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Daily steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Panos. That one must have hurt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Panos pushes Daily off and gets back to his feet.
Panos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Daily but Daily pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Daily fails with a takedown attempt.
Panos cracks Daily with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Panos displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Daily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Panos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Panos!
Daily looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daily closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Panos's guard.

Panos is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Panos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Daily is defended easily by Panos.

Horrible takedown by Panos or perhaps it was just good defense by Daily which made him look bad.

Daily shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Panos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Panos kicks Daily off and gets to his feet.
Daily lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

and Daily connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Daily feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Daily shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Panos sprawls well. Panos wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Daily gets slowly back to his feet.

Panos isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Daily stacks Panos on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Daily!
Daily is looking to take a break and control but Panos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
