And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelo drives through with a takedown into Balls's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Balls might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

No luck for Balls with that takedown attempt.

and Angelo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Balls won't be happy with that.
Balls is breathing heavily.

Balls avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Angelo.
Angelo tries to score with some ground and pound. Balls controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Angelo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Balls, who protects the arm well.

Angelo happy to just control the position for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Balls wants to control but Angelo postures up.
Angelo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Balls is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Angelo stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Angelo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Balls swivels and escapes.
Angelo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Balls!
Balls gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Angelo landing strikes, looking to finish!
Angelo controlling the pace for now.
Angelo working for a guillotine from mount but Balls is in no mood to give up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Angelo in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Balls is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Angelo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Angelo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Balls can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Suezo Angelo dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Angelo dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Balls has had enough and taps out.
