Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Beaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and omar wantan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beaver comes to the cage accompanied by set it off . omar wantan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matthew Beaver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, omar wantan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beaver bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

wantan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

wantan has picked Beaver up - he's going for a ride! wantan dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Beaver wants to control but wantan is keeping busy.
Beaver is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
wantan is trying to control the action in half guard but Beaver is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Beaver works his way to full guard. Good work.
wantan prevents Beaver from getting back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

wantan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than wantan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Beaver could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Beaver is looking for a sweep. wantan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
wantan is controlling the pace.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
wantan working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Beaver's thigh. Beaver counters though and makes it back to full guard.

wantan trying to control but Beaver is working from the bottom.

wantan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and wantan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

wantan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Beaver manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now wantan has Beaver in his guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Beaver postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! wantan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Beaver, into his guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Beaver shoots and misses

and wantan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
wantan tries to pull guard but Beaver holds him up against the cage and eventually wantan drops back down to his feet.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Beaver is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Beaver tries to free his leg and advance position but wantan is retaining full guard.
Beaver postures up in wantan's guard and throws a big left but wantan blocks it.
Beaver stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. wantan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
wantan seems keen to control Beaver's posture.
wantan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Beaver might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

wantan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Beaver off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Beaver bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in wantan's guard.

Beaver seems to have got his legs back now.

Beaver wants to control from the top but wantan keeps moving.
Beaver would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
wantan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

A close second round but omar wantan will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Beaver misses with a takedown

and wantan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Beaver's guard now.

Beaver swings for the body but wantan moves out of range.

Beaver is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
wantan tries to break the clinch but Beaver is controlling the position.
Beaver is looking for a takedown up against the cage. wantan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

wantan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

wantan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Beaver's shoulder. That is not cool.

wantan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
wantan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Beaver to see if he's OK.

wantan decides to stand back up. wantan steps back and let's Beaver get back to his feet.

Beaver changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. wantan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
wantan can't do much from the bottom here.
wantan is looking to reverse the position.
