The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasputin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Rasputin as Silvaz shoots in.
Rasputin cracks Silvaz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Thiago Silvaz has been cut.
Silvaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rasputin connects with a body shot.

Silvaz takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rasputin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silvaz manages to avoid it.
Silvaz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Rasputin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silvaz.
Silvaz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rasputin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
