And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miike Roshop!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bennet scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Roshop looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bennet wants to free his trapped foot but Roshop is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Roshop flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Bennet's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bennet takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Charles Bennet just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Bennet changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Roshop looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Charles Bennet just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Bennet throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roshop's waist but Roshop gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bennet off to one side.
Bennet closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bennet looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Roshop tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bennet fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Roshop closes the distance and clinches.
Roshop has Bennet pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bennet manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Bennet is looking to break free of the clinch but Roshop has double underhooks.
Roshop is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bennet pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Charles Bennet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miike Roshop.
Bennet jumps guard but Roshop stands there with Bennet around his waist. Bennet gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Roshop escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bennet scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


Roshop is rocked!

Bennet gets a big slam - oh, Roshop is out! Roshop is out! That's a nasty KO!
