The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cole is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Handerson is looking to stand up but Cole isn't so interested in that idea.
Handerson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cole gets to his feet. Handerson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Cole bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Handerson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cole on the ground.

Cole has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Handerson is trying to keep an underhook but Cole manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cole closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Cole looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Handerson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
