Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karamea Hindmarsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tanner Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens scores with a hook to the body. Hindmarsh takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hindmarsh throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stevens looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Stevens closes the distance and clinches.
Hindmarsh tries for a takedown. No joy.
Stevens wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hindmarsh really is a fat lump.
Stevens keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hindmarsh's efforts to push away.

Hindmarsh pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hindmarsh wants to get back to his feet but Stevens passes into half guard.
Hindmarsh wants to control but Stevens is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Stevens tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hindmarsh knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Stevens is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Hindmarsh tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Hindmarsh might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hindmarsh wants to control but Stevens is keeping busy.
Hindmarsh gets full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hindmarsh trying to keep a closed guard but Stevens is proving a slippery customer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hindmarsh misses with an uppercut. Stevens saw that one coming.

Stevens fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hindmarsh throws a front kick aimed at Stevens's knee but Stevens avoids it well.
Hindmarsh throws a head kick but Stevens moves out of range.
Stevens wants to clinch.
Stevens slips a jab and a cross from Hindmarsh.
Stevens has a takedown stuffed.
Stevens stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stevens wants it to stay on the feet.
Hindmarsh shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Stevens throws a sloppy head kick and Hindmarsh moves out of range easily.

Stevens slips a jab and a cross from Hindmarsh.
Hindmarsh tries to close the distance and clinch but Stevens swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hindmarsh connects with a crisp jab.
Hindmarsh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hindmarsh is breathing heavily.
Stevens blocks a head kick by Hindmarsh.
Hindmarsh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stevens sprawls well. Stevens wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hindmarsh gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karamea Hindmarsh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hindmarsh takes a head kick and shrugs it off.


It looks like Karamea Hindmarsh has been cut.
Stevens throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Stevens closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hindmarsh's guard.

Stevens wants to pass the guard but Hindmarsh is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stevens accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stevens engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Karamea Hindmarsh.
Stevens closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hindmarsh circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tanner Stevens dominated that round.

That's time! Hindmarsh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Stevens drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hindmarsh is trying to control Stevens's posture but Stevens avoids it.

Stevens is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hindmarsh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Stevens seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hindmarsh does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

It looks like Stevens is going to stand back up.
Hindmarsh trying to hold on to Stevens's head to control him but Stevens postures up.
Stevens is trying to control. Hindmarsh wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hindmarsh passes Stevens's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hindmarsh performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Stevens is not content to let Hindmarsh control the position.

Hindmarsh thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stevens's head.
Hindmarsh throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hindmarsh is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Karamea Hindmarsh just wasn't active enough.

Hindmarsh closes the distance and pushes Stevens back into the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stevens manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stevens is on top in guard.

Hindmarsh is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stevens defends well.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Karamea Hindmarsh wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Hindmarsh stuffs the takedown.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hindmarsh.
Stevens tries to clinch there but Hindmarsh circles away.

Hindmarsh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stevens's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hindmarsh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stevens looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stevens looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stevens!

Stevens wants to control but Hindmarsh is keeping him busy.

Stevens controlling the pace.
Hindmarsh trying to control but Stevens postures up.
Stevens thows a huge punch but Hindmarsh dodges it nicely.

Hindmarsh is trying to control but can't.
Stevens blocks the strikes from Hindmarsh.

Stevens decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Stevens shoots in for a double leg but Hindmarsh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Karamea Hindmarsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tanner Stevens.

Stevens tries to sprawl but Hindmarsh drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Hindmarsh stalling away here and it's allowed Stevens to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Stevens holds on and takes a little breather.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stevens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hindmarsh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
Karamea Hindmarsh showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hindmarsh has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
