With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Sugato!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

One looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
One working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
One landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
One has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sugato wants to get back to his feet.
Sugato is staying active underneath One, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
One is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sugato is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
One stops Sugato from getting back to his feet.
One looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sugato can do anything to dispel that myth.
One moves nicely into side control.
One has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Sugato is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sugato wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! One has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Sugato taps furiously! This one is all over!
