And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Leloup!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leloup moves out of range as Romo throws a body kick.
Romo thows a body shot but no joy.
Leloup throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Romo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A slapping leg kick lands for Romo.
Romo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Leloup. That did some damage!
Leloup lands a jab to the head.
Leloup throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Romo counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Leloup misses with a hook. Romo ducked under it nicely.
Jon Leloup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leloup throws a left and a right that both miss

and Romo counters by clinching up.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Romo.
Romo connects with a nasty looking knee right to Leloup's face.


It looks like Jon Leloup has been cut.

Romo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Leloup.

Romo rushes Leloup and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Romo struggles to land a body shot inside as Leloup controls his hands.
Romo lands a knee to the head.
Leloup is still on wobbly legs! Can Romo finish him?
Romo connects with a nasty looking knee right to Leloup's face.
Leloup is trying to break the clinch but Romo is controlling him.

Romo is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Romo lands a hook that snaps the head of Leloup backwards.
Leloup wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

That has opened up Jon Leloup's cut even more.
Leloup is breathing heavily.
Leloup is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Romo creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Leloup's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Leloup drops to his knees and Romo pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
