We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Tyson with that takedown attempt.

Dix escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tyson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tyson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Tyson looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Dix is avoiding damage well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dix is looking for a sweep. Tyson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dix trying to hold on to Tyson's head to control him but Tyson postures up.
Tyson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dix keeps working.
Tyson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dix. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Dix decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tyson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
