Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Hurst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hurst has chosen when the bullet hits the bone as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurst pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Doyle back to the cage. Hurst follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Doyle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hurst throws a series of punches but Doyle moves out of range.

Doyle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hurst can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Hurst has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Doyle is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hurst yanks on the arm and Doyle is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hurst.
