Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marion Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moore has chosen BOOT - Pepper as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moore shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Moore was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Moore swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Williams is now in Moore's guard. A big mistake from Moore there, giving up the dominant position!

Moore is looking for a triangle here but Williams uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Williams wants to control but Moore is keeping him busy.

Williams had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Moore is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Williams Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Moore's back instead.
Williams is trying to stick to Moore's back but Moore is turning into Williams. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Williams's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Moore.

Moore stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Williams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
