Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ernie Wright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cal Paxton!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paxton looks to land a combination. Wright sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Ernie Wright has been cut.
Wright misses with a head kick.
Wright throws a hook but Paxton avoids it easily.
Wright checks the leg kick nicely there.
Wright misses with a left hand
and Paxton counters with a right hand to the body.
Paxton steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wright.
Paxton tries a low kick but Wright avoids it.
Wright takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Good leg kick by Paxton there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wright avoids a kick to the body.
Paxton throws a poor cross that misses
and Wright makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Paxton really felt that one!
Wright swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wright avoids the body shot from Paxton.
Paxton throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Paxton lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Paxton throws a nice outside leg kick.
Good shot there by Wright.
Wright takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Paxton looks to throw the jab but Wright is out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Paxton. Wright does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wright throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Paxton jabs Wright right on the nose. Wright blinks but takes it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Paxton misses with a low kick as Wright jumps back.
Paxton misses with a straight right.
Paxton lands a big head kick that sends Wright tumbling to the mat! Paxton takes a step backwards and waves Wright back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wright is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Paxton walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Wright drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Paxton swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Wright's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cal Paxton!
After winning the bout, Cal Paxton thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
