Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DeAndre Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Lukens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson comes to the cage accompanied by Slam. Johnny Lukens will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson tries to clinch up but Lukens circles away and keeps his distance.
Lukens throws a head kick that misses.
Lukens clinches with his opponent.
A hook to the body from Lukens.
Tyson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lukens has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tyson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lukens has had enough of the clinch but Tyson keeps him there for the moment.
Tyson landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Tyson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lukens is on top in guard.

Lukens stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tyson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tyson wants to improve his position but instead Lukens has moved into half guard.

Tyson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lukens is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tyson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lukens's back instead.
Lukens is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Tyson gets his way!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lukens tries to escape but Tyson has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Tyson is breathing heavily.
Lukens manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tyson's guard. Nice work there by Lukens.
Tyson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lukens gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tyson controls Lukens momentarily but Lukens frees himself.
Lukens is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Tyson has his foot on Lukens's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lukens works his way back into a safe position though.

Tyson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lukens gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lukens passes Tyson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Lukens is working for a submission of some sort.
Tyson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lukens is just content to waste time from the top position. Tyson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Tyson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tyson tries to get out of the position.
Tyson wants to sweep here but Lukens controlling him for the moment.

Johnny Lukens showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lukens goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tyson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lukens but great work by Tyson.

Tyson is looking to take a break and control but Lukens is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tyson is in trouble now - Lukens has advanced to mount!
