Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Cooke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vladislav Munchkin!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munchkin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cooke.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Munchkin, right into the meat.
Cooke will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cooke rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Munchkin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Cooke drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Cooke is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Munchkin has escaped the position, nice work there.
Munchkin tries to bench press Cooke off him but Cooke keeps the position.
Cooke trying to control the action but Munchkin is working from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Munchkin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Munchkin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Munchkin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cooke wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cooke thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Cooke works to advance to full mount. Munchkin defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Munchkin avoids a series of strikes thrown by Cooke.
Cooke can't control as he wanted to and Munchkin manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Munchkin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Cooke keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Munchkin trying to hold on to Cooke's head to control him but Cooke postures up.
Munchkin wants to get back to full guard.
Munchkin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cooke.
Cooke is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Munchkin is bucking up trying to escape but Cooke cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


It looks like Vladislav Munchkin has been cut.
Munchkin blocking the ground and pound.
Munchkin is working to get back to half guard.
Cooke lands a heavy elbow.

Cooke content just to control the position here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cooke in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.


Munchkin is rocked!

Cooke has hold of Munchkin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Munchkin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Cooke has control of Munchkin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Munchkin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Cooke avoids the attempt from Munchkin to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cooke wants to control the pace but Munchkin is squirming around nicely.
Munchkin sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cooke is looking to advance position but Munchkin won't allow it.
Munchkin gets full guard.
Cooke trying to control the position from guard on top but Munchkin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cooke is really struggling to control Munchkin but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cooke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Munchkin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eric Cooke dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Vladislav Munchkin's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Cooke shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Eric Cooke is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cooke closes the distance looking to clinch
and Munchkin makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Cooke really felt that one!
Munchkin shoots in looking for a takedown. Cooke tries to sprawl out of it but Munchkin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cooke manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cooke misses with a takedown
and Munchkin makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Munchkin scores with a nice head shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Munchkin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cooke throws out the jab.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cooke fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Cooke. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Munchkin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cooke moves away.

Cooke scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Munchkin lands a jab to Cooke's midsection.
Munchkin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cooke fails with a takedown attempt.
Munchkin lands a jab to the nose.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Munchkin throws a wild body kick that Cooke sees coming a mile off.
No luck for Cooke with that takedown attempt.
Munchkin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cooke.
Munchkin throws a half hearted mid kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Munchkin thows a body kick. Cooke tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Munchkin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cooke manages to avoid it.
Munchkin digs a good body shot into Cooke's ribs.
Munchkin works the jab nicely.
Cooke has a takedown stuffed.
Cooke takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Munchkin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cooke sprawling to the canvas! Cooke rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Munchkin finish him?!


Cooke is rocked!

Munchkin shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Munchkin slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Munchkin lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Vladislav Munchkin!
