Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Fom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Andersom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fom closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Andersom looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fom gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Fom jumps into guard, dragging Andersom to the mat.
Fom wants to stand and escape but Andersom is having none of it.
Fom preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Fom looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Andersom has picked Fom up and slammed him! Fom can't keep hold of the triangle and Andersom manages to pass to side control!
Fom is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Andersom is controlling him well.
Andersom tries to score with some ground and pound. Fom controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Andersom manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fom on his heels. He'll look to pass Fom's guard now, I'm sure.
Fom wants to get back to his feet but Andersom passes into half guard.
Fom has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Andersom is working away from the top position though.

Andersom takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Fom throws a nice inside leg kick.
Fom tries to clinch there but Andersom circles away.
Fom looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Andersom is fending him off so far but Fom persists. Nope, Andersom circles away and we're back to standing.
Fom will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fom thumps Andersom with a low kick.
Fom lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fom closes this distance looking for a takedown but Andersom circles away.
Andersom tries to close the distance and clinch but Fom swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fom fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Andersom looks to land a left hand but Fom moved out of range nicely.
Horrible takedown by Andersom or perhaps it was just good defense by Fom which made him look bad.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fom.

Fom changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andersom tries to avoid it but Fom manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andersom to the ground. Andersom escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fom is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Andersom pulls him back up using the underhooks.

The fight stays on the outside here - Fom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mike Fom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fom lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Andersom circles away quickly and effectively.
Fom tries to score a power double leg takedown but Andersom sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fom somewhat.

Andersom rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Andersom swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Andersom has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fom is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Andersom goes for a takedown attempt but Fom pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fom, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
