Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Bobles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn has chosen Ennio Morricone - Il Buono, Il Cattivo, Il Brutto as his entrance music. Alex Gunn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobles displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gunn throws out the jab.
Bobles fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bobles moves out of range of the strikes.
Gunn misses with a double jab.
Bobles blocks a jab.

Bobles gets the takedown into side control.

Bobles wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gunn, who protects the arm well.
Gunn tries to improve position but can't.

Bobles tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bobles has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bobles is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gunn knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bobles tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Gunn can't do much from the bottom here.
Gunn is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bobles is controlling him well.
Bobles tries to advance to mount but Gunn denies him.
Gunn is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bobles has just dragged him back down to the mat.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Gunn misses with a two punch combination.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bobles closes the distance and clinches up with Gunn, looking for a takedown. Bobles pushes Gunn against the cage but Gunn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bobles dodges the punch combination from Gunn.
Gunn throws a shot from downtown. Bobles moves away and avoids it.
Gunn fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bobles checks it well.
Gunn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gunn gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bobles is breathing heavily.
Gunn is looking to stand up but Bobles isn't so interested in that idea.

Bobles drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gunn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gunn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gunn!
Bobles tries to improve position but can't.

Gunn tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Gunn scoring with punches and elbows.
Bobles tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gunn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Gunn stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Bobles tries to keep at a distance but Gunn has taken the fight into the clinch.

Gunn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gunn connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Gunn scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Gunn throws a jab but it's blocked by Bobles.
Bobles slips a straight right by Gunn.
Gunn throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Gunn cracks Bobles with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gunn looks to land a left hand but Bobles moved out of range nicely.
Gunn misses with a low kick as Bobles jumps back.
Alex Gunn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gunn throws a hook but Bobles blocks it.
Gunn throws a right and a left that Bobles avoids nicely.

Gunn gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bobles works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Bobles prevents Gunn from standing back up.
