Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Castiel Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusta Tindall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Castiel Masters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Augusta Tindall!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Masters.
Masters on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Masters looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tindall is fending him off so far but Masters persists. Nope, Tindall circles away and we're back to standing.
Tindall fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tindall shoots in for a takedown but Masters shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Masters thows a body kick. Tindall tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Tindall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Tindall is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Masters's half guard.
Tindall is looking to take a break and control but Masters is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Masters wants to control but Tindall is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tindall takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Masters is refusing to be controlled, as Tindall sits in half guard.
Masters keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Castiel Masters has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Tindall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tindall wants it to stay on the feet.

Tindall fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Masters to the ground. Tindall is now in Masters's guard.

Tindall gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Masters fails in his attempt to clinch.
Masters stuffs the takedown attempt from Tindall. Tindall gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tindall shoots for a double leg takedown but Masters sprawls well. He's pushed Tindall's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Masters counters with a head kick. That will keep Tindall thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Masters closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tindall circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tindall tries for a takedown but Masters manages to get underhooks.

Masters breaks from the clinch.
Tindall stuffs the takedown.
Tindall shoots for a double leg takedown but Masters sprawls well. He's pushed Tindall's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Masters looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tindall is fending him off so far but Masters persists. Nope, Tindall circles away and we're back to standing.
Tindall looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Masters shoots in looking for a takedown. Tindall tries to sprawl out of it but Masters keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tindall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Masters misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Tindall has a takedown stuffed.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tindall fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Masters swats away the attempt to clinch by Tindall.
No joy there for Tindall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tindall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tindall wants it to stay on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Masters looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tindall shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Masters as he avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Masters.
Masters will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Castiel Masters. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tindall has Masters up against the cage in a clinch.
Masters stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Masters has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tindall uses from the top position.

Masters is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tindall gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
A frustrated look appears on Tindall's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Tindall misses with a body punch.
Tindall tries to pull guard but Masters won't allow it.
Masters drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tindall gets the underhooks and prevents it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tindall is working for takedown but Masters is calmly controlling the position for now.
Tindall jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Masters walks away with a smile on his face. Tindall gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Tindall counters with a three punch combo that has Masters backing up. Masters nods at Tindall to acknowledge the strikes.

Masters manages to pull guard.

Masters wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Tindall is now in half guard.
Tindall tries to pass to full mount but Masters defends it.

Tindall is taking a breather. Masters says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Tindall seems to be working for a kimura but Masters defends the submission attempt.
Masters is not content to let Tindall control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Masters is trying to get back to full guard.
Tindall wants to control but Masters is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Augusta Tindall will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Tindall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Masters sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tindall somewhat.

Masters rushes Tindall and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Masters.
Tindall is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Masters is defending well.

Tindall takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tindall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Masters but Masters pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Masters drives through and clinches with Tindall against the cage.
Tindall is pushing Masters up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Tindall looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
