Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Suxin Fux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Tsosie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Connor Tsosie was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tsosie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fux escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Suxin Fux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Tsosie counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Fux looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fux doesn't manage to clinch there - Tsosie circles away.

Fux lands a left and a right that send Tsosie crashing to the mat, dazed. Fux thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Connor Tsosie has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fux tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Tsosie counters with a thumping low kick.
Tsosie is still on wobbly legs! Can Fux finish him?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Tsosie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Tsosie seems to have recovered his senses.
Tsosie moves into full mount! Fux won't be happy about that!

Tsosie working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Fux turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Tsosie off and cradles Fux's limp body as Tsosie celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Connor Tsosie!
