Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Doe doesn't seem bothered though.
The fighters circle momentarily. Green darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nice shot lands for Green.
A cross from Green lands.
No luck for Doe with that takedown attempt.
Doe takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Green circles away from the clinch attempt.
Green lands a nice looking body shot.
Green fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Doe on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Green throws a combination. Doe tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Doe doesn't manage to clinch there - Green circles away.
Green keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Doe wants to clinch.
Doe gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Doe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Green lands a right hook to the body.
Green defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Doe.
That kick from Green tenderised Doe's leg. Doe is trying to keep his angry face on.
Green lands a nice shot to the body.

Doe scores with a takedown into Green's guard.
Green on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Green tries to get out of the position.
Green looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Green keeping full guard, as Doe tries to pass.
Green is trying to control the position but Doe postures up.
Green knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Doe on the ground.

Doe drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Doe as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Green screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Doe! Nice submission victory there!

In his post fight interview, John Doe started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
