Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Lii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lii's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Legend of the Ocean . Bruce Gracie has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Luke Lii's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries for a takedown but Lii sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gracie fails with the takedown.
Lii has managed to clinch.
Gracie is looking to break free of the clinch but Lii has double underhooks.
Lii scores with a knee to the head.
Lii pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lii throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Lii lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Gracie blocks a head kick by Lii.
Lii misses with a kick to the body.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lii counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Gracie takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lii as he avoids it easily.
Lii tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lii stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Lii moves into the clinch.
Lii lands a right hand.
Lii breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracie shoots in and bounces Lii off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Lii is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lii manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Lii's guard.

Gracie stops Lii from standing up.
Gracie throws an elbow that misses. Lii uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gracie's guard. Nice move by Lii!
Lii knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lii defends well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lii got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lii has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.

Lii pushes down on Gracie's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Lii is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lii is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lii pulls his head out easily.

Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lii is working away from the top position though.

Lii looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lii pulls his head out easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lii is looking to advance position but Gracie won't allow it.
Lii wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Luke Lii will probably get the nod.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lii as he jumps to the side.
Lii keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Gracie looks to land a right hand but Lii moved out of range.
Lii dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage!

Lii is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Gracie throws a right hand that Lii ducks under and follows up with a left that Lii also avoids with ease.

Gracie tries to score a body lock takedown but Lii shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Gracie wants to take the fight to the mat but Lii manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Lii's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lii manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Lii in his guard.

Gracie has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lii should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gracie has tightened it up now! Lii should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
