The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Oliveira looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Oliveira moves into the clinch.
Carneiro is pressed up against the cage. Oliveira has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Carneiro down to the mat. Carneiro avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Oliveira is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carneiro.
Carneiro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oliveira was well out of range. Poor timing from Carneiro.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Oliveira.
Carneiro wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Oliveira shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Oliveira showed some decent athleticism there.
Carneiro wants to get back to his feet.
Carneiro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oliveira on the ground.
