Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeAngelo Kenner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Freedmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenner comes to the cage accompanied by ''Death Wish'' by Jadakiss feat. Lil Wayne. Freedmen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hero by Skillet. Roger Freedmen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, DeAngelo Kenner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Freedmen!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Freedmen.
Roger Freedmen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freedmen lands a nice looking body shot.
Freedmen throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Freedmen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Freedmen. Kenner does a little dance to reset his feet.
A jab from Freedmen finds it's way through Kenner's defenses.
Freedmen tried to score with a low kick but Kenner checks it.
Freedmen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kenner.
Freedmen cracks the inside of Kenner's front leg.
Kenner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Freedmen.
Freedmen takes one to the side of the head.
Freedmen misses the body punch

and Kenner counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kenner thows a huge punch but Freedmen dodges it nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kenner connects with a nice short shot to Freedmen's temple.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Freedmen wants to get back to full guard.

Kenner seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are battling for position here. Freedmen manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Freedmen keeping moving, preventing Kenner from controlling successfully.
Kenner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Freedmen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kenner throwing strikes from guard but Freedmen blocks nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Freedmen is trying to keep Kenner in close.
Kenner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Freedmen wants to sweep but no luck.
Kenner working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kenner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kenner forces his way into half guard.
Freedmen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kenner works his way into side control.
Kenner scoring with punches and elbows.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Freedmen manages to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kenner is looking for a kimura but Freedmen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kenner to get the leverage.
Kenner trying to mount his opponent but Freedmen defends it.
Kenner wants to control but Freedmen is keeping him busy.

Kenner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Freedmen is just riding it out for now. Kenner eventually gives up the hold.

Kenner is trying to control. Freedmen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kenner wants to advance to full mount but Freedmen doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Freedmen tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kenner loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Freedmen wants to improve his position but instead Kenner has moved into half guard.
Freedmen looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kenner looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Freedmen avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kenner.
Kenner tries to pass the half guard into mount. Freedmen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

DeAngelo Kenner dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Kenner looks to score with a jab to the body but Freedmen is just out of range.
Kenner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Freedmen tries for a takedown but Kenner circles away easily

and Kenner counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Kenner moves nicely into side control.
Kenner cracks Freedmen with a big elbow.
Kenner misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kenner is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Freedmen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Freedmen is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Kenner advances to mount.
Kenner pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Freedmen is rocked!
Kenner unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Freedmen wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Kenner celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). DeAngelo Kenner!
DeAngelo Kenner really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Convicted Trap House logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
