PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Stahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gable comes to the cage accompanied by Scorpions - The Zoo . I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gable misses with a kick to the body.
Stahl bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Stahl ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Stahl throws a series of strikes that have Gable backpedaling.
Stahl scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Stahl closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Gable gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Stahl.
Stahl pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gable back to the cage. Stahl follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A jab from Stahl does it's job there.
Stahl fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gable takes a body punch but keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stahl tests Gable's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Stahl lands a slapping body shot.
Bruno Stahl is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gable swings widly with a right hand
and Stahl counters with a left to the body.
Stahl bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gable's head backwards.
Stahl lands a slapping body shot.
Gable misses with a jab to the body
and Stahl cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stahl fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gable walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stahl throws a shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gable ducks right into an uppercut from Stahl.
Stahl connects with the punch.
Stahl fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gable looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Gable takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Gable is rocked!
Stahl cracks Gable with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gable tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Stahl pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gable is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruno Stahl!
