The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hidjen throws a chopping leg kick but Ritzik manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ritzik, right into the meat.
Ritzik lands a right hook to the body.
Hidjen wants to clinch.
Hidjen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hidjen walks forward, straight into a front kick from Ritzik.
Ritzik lands a jab to Hidjen's midsection.
Hidjen looks winded!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ritzik sends Hidjen crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ritzik is motioning to the referee to let Hidjen up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Hidjen is rocked!

It looks like Ramsey Hidjen has been cut.
Ritzik buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hidjen is still on wobbly legs! Can Ritzik finish him?
Ritzik dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hidjen. That did some damage!
Ritzik comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hidjen seems to have recovered his senses.
Ritzik scores with a hook to the body. Hidjen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ritzik scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hidjen doesn't seem bothered though.
Ritzik closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Hidjen out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

In his post fight interview, MSgt. Rupert Ritzik started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
