Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Humberto Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Deja Vu kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Cruz throws a head kick but Andersson moves out of range.
Andersson lands with a hook. Cruz tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Andersson misses with a hook.

Cruz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Andersson.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cruz lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Andersson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Andersson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Andersson feints and then cracks Cruz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cruz down.

Cruz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cruz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Cruz creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Andersson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Cruz goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Andersson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cruz but great work by Andersson.

Well Cruz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
