The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerrero throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Guerrero scores a takedown into full mount!
Guerrero trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Guerrero is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Guerrero is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Guerrero has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Davis's face.
Guerrero wants to control the pace but Davis is squirming around nicely.
Guerrero is really struggling to control Davis but he's trying to hold on to the position.
A nice elbow there by Guerrero.
Davis is squirming around, avoiding Guerrero's attempts to control the action.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Slamito Guerrero just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Guerrero shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Davis's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Guerrero gets the takedown into side control.

Davis explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Guerrero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Davis is pushing Guerrero's head away, looking to escape. Guerrero manages to hold on to the position though.

Guerrero decides to stand up, so the ref orders Davis to his feet.

Guerrero drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Guerrero stands up from Davis's guard - Guerrero perhaps looking for a knockout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Guerrero shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Davis tries to hold on but Guerrero postures up.
Guerrero can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davis is looking to escape.
Davis gets back to half guard.
Guerrero tries to stand and escape but Davis is controlling the position.
Guerrero knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground.
Davis is trying to stand.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Davis gets back to full guard.

Guerrero is sitting in close to Davis's body. Davis has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Guerrero is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Guerrero is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Davis.
