The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broadous misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sanders throws a hook to the side of Broadous's head but Broadous sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Broadous moves away from the strike by Sanders.
Broadous displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sanders throws out the jab.
Sanders looks for the body kick but Broadous saw that one coming.
Sanders throws a right and a left that Broadous avoids nicely.
Sanders scores with a nice head shot.
Broadous blocks a head kick by Sanders.
Sanders showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Broadous.
Broadous on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Sanders looks to land a left hand but Broadous moved out of range nicely.
Sanders takes a swing at Broadous's ribcage but misses.
Sanders tries for a takedown but Broadous sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Broadous drops Sanders with a left right combo! Broadous follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Eric Sanders has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Broadous wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanders keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Broadous is really struggling to control Sanders but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Sanders stuck in half guard on the bottom here.
Sanders really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Broadous. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Broadous has hold of Sanders's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sanders tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Broadous cranks the arm and Sanders screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sanders, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
