Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Barone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David has chosen Craig David - Rise and Fall as his entrance music. Craig David struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruno Barone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
21 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Craig David!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David tries to clinch there but Barone circles away.
David moves into range and clinches up with Barone.
David wants to get back to striking at distance but Barone won't allow it.
A short uppercut from Barone.
Barone lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Barone throws a knee to the head but misses.
David takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Craig David has been cut.
Barone throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but David blocks it with crossed arms.
Barone prevents a takedown attempt there.
David drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

David tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
David goes for a takedown attempt but Barone pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and David connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
David closes the distance and clinches up with Barone, looking for a takedown. David pushes Barone against the cage but Barone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
David throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Barone counters with a two punch combo.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
A head kick from Barone lands but David takes it in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Barone displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from David.
Craig David seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

David has his takedown stuffed
and Barone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
David throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
David fails with a takedown attempt.

and Barone counters with a leg kick.
David looks winded!
Barone throws a one two combo.
Barone takes the fight into the clinch.

Barone keeps control of David as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Barone scores with a nice hook to the head.
David is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Barone pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Barone gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

That has opened up Craig David's cut even more.
Barone is pressed up against the cage. David has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Barone down to the mat. Barone avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

David is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Barone is defending well.

David changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Barone fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Barone throws a nice looking combination but David bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Barone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with David, pushing him back against the cage.
David has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Barone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's time! Barone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

David tries to score a body lock takedown but Barone shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
David is trying to drag Barone to the mat but Barone just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

David drops down looking for an ankle pick but Barone pulls his leg out and moves away.

Craig David's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
David tries to pull guard but Barone forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
