The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swick fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pinto avoids it really well and circles away.
Swick tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pinto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Swick looks for a takedown but Pinto sprawls well.
Swick swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pinto counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Swick doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pinto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Clark Swick has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clark Swick. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pinto thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Swick if he has to take too many more of those.

and Pinto counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Swick throws a head kick that misses.
Pinto dances in with a quick combination. Swick is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Pinto snaps Swick's head back. Swick stumbles backwards against the cage. Pinto steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Swick's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Swick just didn't come prepared.
