Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Conti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Montana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Conti might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to X Gonna Give it to Ya. Carlos Montana is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conti uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Montana.
Montana tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Conti looks to land a combination but Montana avoids it well.
Conti connects with a single shot there.
Conti swats away the attempt to clinch by Montana.
Conti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Montana.
Conti lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Montana circles away quickly and effectively.
Thiago Conti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conti throws a right and a left that Montana avoids nicely.
Conti misses with a two punch combination.
Conti swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Montana drives through and clinches with Conti against the cage.
Montana looking to throw knees to the head but Conti is blocking nicely.
Conti tries to circle away but Montana has him pinned against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Montana tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Conti just stands there and leans against the cage.
Conti wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Montana has him pressed against the cage.

Conti pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Montana misses with a body kick.

Conti lands a big right hand that sends Montana crashing to the mat! Conti stays standing though and waves Montana back to his feet!

Montana is rocked!

It looks like Carlos Montana has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Conti lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Montana circles away quickly and effectively.
Montana is still on wobbly legs! Can Conti finish him?
A big right followed by a crushing left from Conti knocks Montana out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

In his post fight interview, Thiago Conti started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
