Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benedikt Pushkar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonnie Fierro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fierro has chosen Punkrocker as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jonnie Fierro enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Benedikt Pushkar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonnie Fierro!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pushkar moves out of range as Fierro strikes.
Pushkar fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fierro falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pushkar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fierro takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fierro misses with a hook
and Pushkar counters with a shoot takedown. Fierro fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Pushkar passes Fierro's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Fierro makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fierro.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fierro tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fierro has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Pushkar has passed into side control.
Pushkar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fierro keeps working.
Pushkar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Sloppy strikes there by Pushkar.
Pushkar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pushkar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fierro takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Fierro is looking to reverse the position.
Fierro managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Pushkar.

Fierro wants to control but Pushkar postures up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pushkar cracks Fierro with a big right hand but Fierro just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Fierro is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Fierro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pushkar throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Fierro works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Fierro is looking to control Pushkar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fierro avoid being mounted?
Fierro wants to get back to full guard.
Pushkar is pressing down on Fierro's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fierro is holding on for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fierro is looking for a sweep. Pushkar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fierro won't allow Pushkar to pass to mount.
Pushkar lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Fierro has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pushkar is working away from the top position though.
Pushkar content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Fierro scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Pushkar manages to mount him!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pushkar lands with some strikes.
Pushkar scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Fierro?

This has been an exciting period of action!

That has opened up Jonnie Fierro's cut even more.
Fierro is desperately trying to improve his position but Pushkar has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fierro takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Jonnie Fierro's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jonnie Fierro's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

An out of breath Benedikt Pushkar thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
