Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dallas Riley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabricio Rodrigues!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues cracks Riley with a right hand to the side of the head.
Riley with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rodrigues to score with a decent uppercut.
Riley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodrigues tries to avoid it but Riley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodrigues to the ground. Rodrigues escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Riley takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A combination from Riley does no damage.
Rodrigues throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rodrigues throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Riley colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Rodrigues as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Riley is left battered and dazed whilst Rodrigues and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fabricio Rodrigues!
A relieved looking Fabricio Rodrigues thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
