Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hacran Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pedro Hernandez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Hernandez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A bone on bone clash there as Silva blocks the leg kick.
Hernandez misses with a hook. Silva ducked under it nicely.
Silva avoids the body shot from Hernandez.
Hernandez throws a sloppy head kick
and Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Silva avoids the body shot from Hernandez.
Hernandez wants to clinch.
Hernandez tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Silva counters with a nice body shot.

and Silva counters by moving into the clinch.
Silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hernandez blocks it with crossed arms.
Silva breaks from the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hernandez. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hernandez throws a right hand that misses
and Silva counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Silva lands a hook to the side of the head.
A nice left hand lands by Silva.

Hernandez with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Silva.
Hernandez manages to break the clinch.
Hernandez lands with a shot to the body.
Silva drives through and clinches with Hernandez against the cage.
Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hernandez shoots in looking for a takedown but Silva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hernandez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hernandez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hernandez throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Hernandez throws a right hand that misses
and Silva counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Silva gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hernandez is trying to keep Silva in close.
Hernandez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hernandez wants to stand but Silva is controlling the position.
Silva wants to control from the top but Hernandez keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Silva sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hernandez's guard.
Silva content to control rather than advance.
Hernandez is in trouble now - Silva has advanced to mount!
Silva lands a big shot there that rocks Hernandez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hernandez is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silva tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hernandez is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him?

Silva postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Hernandez in real trouble here! The ref calls for Hernandez to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
