Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pete Kiehn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pete Kiehn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Rampage !
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage throws a looping overhand right but Kiehn ducks down to avoid it.

Kiehn clinches up with Rampage and pushes him back against the cage.

Kiehn breaks from the clinch.
Rampage has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rampage there as he acknowledges the shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rampage is defended easily by Kiehn.
Kiehn leaves Rampage with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Pete Kiehn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Rampage .
A combination from Kiehn does no damage.
Kiehn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rampage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rampage looks to land a strike but Kiehn avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Kiehn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kiehn.
Kiehn shoots in looking for a takedown but Rampage manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kiehn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kiehn is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kiehn just misses with a punch to the body.

Rampage bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Rampage is looking to take a break and control but Kiehn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Rampage thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rampage connects with a nice short shot to Kiehn's temple.
Kiehn won't allow Rampage to pass to mount.
Kiehn keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rampage slips a jab and a cross from Kiehn.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Kiehn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kiehn looks to land a combination but Rampage avoids it well.

Kiehn really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Rampage .
Rampage just trying to survive but Kiehn is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Kiehn's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
I really don't envy Rampage right now.
A lull in the action here.
Rampage turns into Kiehn and is now in his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rampage is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kiehn defends well.

Kiehn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rampage swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kiehn in side control, throwing shots but Rampage defends.
Kiehn is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rampage will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Rampage is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Rampage is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jon Rampage is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Kiehn tries to move to mount but Rampage blocks the move with his legs.
