The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Santiago's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Santiago.

Santiago tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Santiago has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Johnson tries to buck Santiago off but Santiago is having none of it.
Santiago tries to advance to mount but Johnson denies him.
