Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Rumble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumble has chosen J'ai Osé - Keny Arkana as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Speed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Igor Rumble!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Speed dives in and scores a takedown into Rumble's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Rumble is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Speed controlling from the top position.

Speed gets to his feet. Rumble looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Speed with a nice cross.

Speed closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rumble did well to prevent Speed getting side control.
Rumble really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Speed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Speed keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Speed seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rumble for as long as he can get away with.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Rumble is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tyson Speed just wasn't active enough.
Speed shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rumble as he avoids it easily.

Speed has Rumble up against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rumble tries for a takedown but Speed manages to get underhooks.
Speed stalling.

Speed pulls guard effortlessly.
Speed lands with a heel strike from the guard.

Rumble avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rumble stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Speed swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rumble has gone for a leg lock! Speed slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rumble's guard.
Speed content to stall in guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rumble is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Speed is stalling in the full guard.
Rumble has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Speed has passed into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Speed controlling from side mount.
Speed advances nicely into full mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Speed landing punches.
Speed lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyson Speed dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Speed stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Speed wants it to stay on the feet.
Speed misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Speed fails with a takedown attempt.
Speed will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Speed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rumble throws a wild hook but Speed just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Rumble gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Speed raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyson Speed!
